Absolut Kurant is a Sweden vodka, with a typical berry flavor. It is made the same way as Absolute Pure Vodka, the only difference being the taste of black currant. In preparation of Absolute Kurant is used continuous distillation it means that instead of the usual three or four times, the vodka was distilled an infinite number of times.
Black currant is a typical Swedish berry so called vinbar, thus originally Absolute Kurant was supposed to be called Absolut VinBar Only thing was that the English pronunciation would have been wine bar.
Absolute Kurant is smooth and mellow, with a fruity black currant character and a hint of tartness. It is easily enjoyed in its pure and fruity natural form, but it’s also the perfect base in numerous drinks. Just take a look below!
